Itineraries

Stop 1

Basket Weavers

On our first stop, we will visit a local Cambodian family who use raw materials to weave bamboo baskets. We will meet a veteran weaver and observe how Cambodian bamboo baskets are made. The friendly family there will also tell you all about their work, and you will get to observe their incredible skills.

Stop 2

Cycling along the River

Most tourists who visit Kampot usually head straight for its famous river. Cycling is a slower, yet more relaxing way to experience this beautiful river. Cycle under lush green trees and watch the fishing boats as your guide tells you about the livelihoods connected to this river.

Stop 3

On the River by Ferry

After taking in the sights of the river, it is now time to cross it! We will meet a boatman who will take us across the river. Your guide will help you load your bicycle onto the boat, and off you go! There are wonderful photo opportunities for you once you are on the boat.

Stop 4

Bike to the Muslim Community

Once we’ve crossed the river, we will disembark and cycle to a Cambodian Muslim community, where you will be able to observe the community’s livelihood of fishing. There are more photo opportunities here, and you will be able to watch a fabulous sunset set against Kampot’s mountains and river. This will be our final stop before heading back to town.
